  • Jun 1 Family: Water Day at Lenora 4-H’ers of all ages are invited to enjoy a fun afternoon at Lenora Park’s pool in Gwinnett County, featuring water slides, a lazy river, and plenty of splash time. This aquatic adventure is one they won’t forget. Water and snacks are included. Event Location: Lenora Park, 4315 Lenora Church Rd, Snellville, GA 30039 Pick-up and drop-off will take place at the Rockdale County 4-H Office. Participants will build working lung models, create a brain model, and design a 3D eye model to understand how vision works. This event is for our students who finished 4th-6th Grade this year! Registration deadline is on May 25, 2026. Class Space is limited to 12 students.

  • Jun 9 Working with Native Plants in Your Garden hosted by the Conyers Garden Club Join the Conyers Garden Club for a special National Garden Week program on June 9, 2026, at 11:00 AM. This year’s topic, “Working with Native Plants in Your Garden,” will inspire gardeners to incorporate more native species while offering practical ideas for getting started. Our speakers, Victoria Hull, Spalding County Agriculture & Natural Resources Agent, and Andrew Carroll with the Georgia Department of Natural Resources, will share their combined expertise and discuss their work transforming part of their community garden into a native pollinator garden. The presentation will last approximately 45 minutes.

  • Jun 11 Junior and Senior: Top Golf Junior and Senior 4?H’ers, rising 7th - 12th Grade Students, are invited to enjoy two hours of unlimited golf play, complete with food and unlimited fountain drinks, lemonade, and water. It’s the perfect chance to take a swing at an afternoon that’s sure to be on par. Payment is required at registration, and space is limited. Spots cannot be held, and registration is not complete without payment. Registration Deadline: May 19, 2026. Pick?up and drop?off will take place at the Rockdale County 4?H Office.

We’ll have special guests from around the community visit us and even take a field trip to one of our local Fire Stations. Lunch and snacks are included daily. Both weeks of Cloverbud Camp, the activities will be the same. There is a maximum of 12 participants for this event. The registration deadline is June 8, 2026.
