4-Her's at Marine Resource Camp at Jekyll Island
Georgia's 4-H summer camping program, administered through the county offices of UGA Cooperative Extension, offers a 4-H summer camping experience unparalleled in the nation. Every camp offers great adventure, friendship, and fun. If you love an outdoor adventure with lots of swimming, archery, hiking, and hands-on learning about nature, then 4-H Camp is for you.
Registration opens on Friday, February 13, 2026! A non-refundable deposit is required to register for each camp.

Cloverbud Camp: K-3rd Grade
Cloverbud Cooking Camp
Get ready, Cloverbud Chefs, because this summer the kitchen becomes your Hollywood studio! Cloverbudes will step into the spotlight at our Movie-inspired cooking camp. They will whip up snacksand treats inspired by some of our favorite family films. During camp, our culinary superstars will cook, mix, sprinkle, and taste their way through each "scene!" Registration will include a chef kit, meals, and a daily movie. Registration is not complete until payment is received. We are unable to hold spaces, and space is limited.

Cloverbud Day Camp
Cloverbuds, get excited for three days of fun with 4-H and special guests from around our community. Every day, we will have an assortment of planned activities, including arts and crafts, games, and STEM activities. This year, we are offering two weeks of this camp; the activities will be the same for both weeks. Registration includes activities and meals. Registration is not complete until payment is received. We are unable to hold spaces, and space is limited.

Cloveleaf Camp: 4th - 6th Grade
4-H Summer Camp at Rock Eagle is all about adventure! During the five days of fun, you will attend awesome workshops and activities, plus have free time to hang out with your friends and make new ones. Campers are divided into three Flight groups (Firebirds, Thunderbirds, and Skybirds) that will compete all week for the coveted shield. Adventure Quest Camp
Spend this exciting week with your friends on a thrilling journey where campers hop on buses to explore exciting destinations like the Georgia Aquarium, splash around at a water park, and eat dinner at Stone Mountain Park—complete with a drone show! Back at camp, the adventure continues with high ropes challenges, hands–on herpetology, and all the classic camp fun campers love. It’s the perfect mix of exploration, excitement, and outdoor discovery! Registration includes transportation, activities, a T-Shirt, meals, lodging, and more. A non-refundable deposit of $105 is required at registration. Space is limited. Registration is in person at the Rockdale County Extension Services Office. We are unable to reserve a place for a student without a deposit.

Wilderness Challenge Camp
This camp is the ultimate outdoor adventure where campers will learn cool skills like cooking over a campfire, tying knots, setting up tents, and learning first aid skills. With exciting activities like high ropes courses and white–water rafting, campers build confidence, make new friends, and have tons of fun in the great outdoors! Campers must be age 12 by camp time to go whitewater rafting! Transportation is not provided. Registration includes the activities, meals, and lodging. A non-refundable deposit of $105 is required at registration. Space is limited. Registration is in person at the Rockdale County Extension Services Office. We are unable to reserve a place for a student without a deposit.

Marine Exploration Camp
Dive into coastal discovery at Marine Exploration Camp, where campers experience hands–on marine science through shark dissections, marsh ecology classes, seining adventures, and more. The excitement continues with a scenic trolley ride into Savannah and on a riverboat cruise, making this an unforgettable journey into Georgia’s coastal ecosystems! Transportation may be provided. Registration includes the activities, meals, and lodging. A non-refundable deposit of $105 is required at registration. Space is limited. Senior Camp at Georgia 4-H at Camp Jekyll
Want to spend a week at the beach with some of your friends? This camp includes a full day at Summer Waves Water Park, complete with admission and lunch, offering the perfect mix of thrills and relaxation. Campers will also enjoy a hands–on trawl boat tour to learn about marine life, and a special outing to St. Simons Island featuring a delicious meal and time for shopping in the charming village. Registration includes activities, a t-shirt, meals, and lodging. Transportation may be on your own to and from camp. Space is very limited, so stop by the office to register. A Deposit of $105 is non-refundable and is required to complete registration. Spaces cannot be held without a deposit.

Senior Extreme Camp at Frank Pitch Pioneer Camp
Have a love for the great outdoors? Senior EXTREME Camp is a more primitive camping experience. This experience is built for teens who crave adventure! Campers will conquer high ropes courses, master archery, go on a kayak trip, and more. They’ll fish in quiet lakes, cook meals over open fires, and sleep under the stars in tents. Registration includes transportation, activities, lodging, and meals. A non-refundable deposit of $105 is required at registration. We cannot hold spots for campers without a deposit.

Do you want to spend five days in the mountains this summer? You are invited to join an unforgettable outdoor adventure camp packed with excitement and exploration. Get ready to experience the thrill of white–water rafting, soar through the trees on the flying squirrel and zipline, and conquer the climbing wall. Participants will dive into hands–on science through herpetology and stream ecology classes, gaining a deeper understanding of Georgia’s natural ecosystems. A special evening trip to Dahlonega offers time to relax, enjoy dinner with friends, and explore local shops. Transportation is not included in the registration.
