ServSafe®

We provide Georgia's foodservice industry with food safety training using the National and Georgia Restaurant Associations ServSafe® Manager program. In a typical year, we hold the 2-day course and exam quarterly and proctor additional exams by request. We can also provide ServSafe® Food Handler training.

The ServSafe® Manager Exam is a very detailed 90-question multiple choice test. Examinees must score a 75% to obtain ServSafe® Manager Certification.

The ServSafe® Manager workshops include the latest textbook, exam session, light refreshments, and 1-2 days of instruction.  We will break for lunch each day around noon.

May 10th - time: 8:30am-6:00pm

August 16-17 - time: 8:30am-3:30pm

November 30 - time: 8:30am-6:00pm

Alternative Certification Options:

  1. In-Person Exam: $60 – If you need to retake the exam, schedule an exam session with Rockdale County FACS Agent, MaryBeth Hornbeck. The exam can be on paper or online depending on your preference.
  2. Class + In-Person Exam: $80 – If you already have the book, you can attend our one-day or two-day class with the in-person exam taken at the end of the class session.
  3. Book Self Study + In-Person Exam: $100 - Purchase ServSafe® Manager 7th Edition Book from our office, study at your own pace, and schedule an exam session with Rockdale County FACS Agent, MaryBeth Hornbeck. The exam can be on paper or online depending on your preference.
  4.
