UGA Agricultural and Environmental Services Laboratories

Most analytical services are available at this time. Rush sample services may be available but prior arrangements must be made by calling the UGA Soil, Plant, & Water Laboratory. UGA Staff will observe social distancing and recommended safety practices.

Morgan County Extension Office is open, hours: 8-12 and 1-5 Monday-Friday.

Testing and Diagnostic Services

Whether you'd like to increase your crop yield, grow healthier roses, test the quality of your drinking water, or make sure your creek isn't polluted, we can help. To submit samples for testing contact: UGA Extension Morgan County Office (706) 342-2214 or email uge3211@uga.edu.

Through the UGA Agriculture and Environmental Services Laboratories (AESL) we provide testing for:

  • Soil analysis
  • Water quality
  • Plant tissue analysis, Plant disease and Insect Identification
  • Pesticides and hazardous waste
  • Feeds and forages, hay samples, rations and more
  • Radon Testing (water)
  • Special analysis
