In School Club Meetings

4-H programs are grounded in the belief that youth learn best by doing. 4-H'ers participate in hands-on learning activities in science, health, agriculture and citizenship, in a positive environment where they receive guidance from adult mentors and are encouraged to take on proactive leadership roles.
 

Elementary Schools-

Lowndes County 4-H is currently in 10 Elementary Schools throughout the city and county. Our qualified staff visit 5th grade classrooms in these school in order to teach STEM lessons that correspond with Georgia Education Standards and reinforce important scientific concepts. We are currently in the schools listed below:

Lowndes County 4-H is currently in 2 Middle Schools in the county. Our qualified staff visit during lunch or on the school's club day in order to teach leadership, teamwork, and communication skills through fun science and leadership activities. We are currently in the schools listed below:
