Our mission is to deliver lifelong learning across the state through science-based programs and education in agriculture and the environment, family well-being, and 4-H youth development.


Programs and Services

The Lowndes County Extension Office offers a variety of services including soil and water testing. We provide educational programs, information, and assistance to citizens of Lowndes County through telephone consultations, farmer/homeowner site visits, news articles, and collaboration with other agencies. The Lowndes County 4-H program keeps students from 4th-12th grade active with a variety of community service activities and learning opportunities.
