JOIN US FOR THE VIRTUAL HORSE SHOW!

Join us for a virtual Horse Show from May 8th to June 12th! The Georgia State 4-H Horse Show may be postponed, but that does not mean you can’t ride and practice at home. There are NO ENTRY FEES! Class winners will be announced on the Northeast District 4-H Horse Show Facebook Page and receive a certificate via email.

There are three different age groups: Cloverleaf, Junior and Senior. Cloverleaf is walk-jog only.

Each class is available in Hunt Seat, Stock Seat, Saddle Seat and Ranch Divisions. You may enter more than one division.

Class of the week will be open from Friday to Friday for entries

ALL entries must be accepted through the Qualtrics link for that week. Videos should be 3 minutes or less in length.

Tack should be appropriate for the class. However, clothes may be any appropriate riding gear and not show attire specific.

Markers for pattern classes may be cones, buckets or anything else available at home.


Halter Classes: Stock Type Mares, Stock Type Geldings, Hunter Type Mares, Hunter Type Geldings and Other (divided out with enough entries). Take and submit three pictures of your horse; profile right side view, front view and rear view.

Showmanship Classes: Hunt Seat Showmanship, Stock Seat Showmanship, Saddle Seat Showmanship, Ranch Handling. Complete designated pattern and upload video.

Pleasure Classes: Hunt Seat Pleasure, Western (Stock Seat Pleasure), Gaited Pleasure, Ranch Pleasure. Hunt, Stock & Saddle Seat upload a video of your horse performing appropriate gates in each direction. Ranch Pleasure complete designated pattern.

Equitation/Horsemanship: Hunt Seat Equitation, Stock Seat Horsemanship, Saddle Seat Equitation, Ranch Riding. Upload a video of your horse performing designated pattern.

Specialty Classes: Hunter Hack, Trail, Dressage. Upload a video of your horse performing designated pattern.

***FOR TRAIL CLASSES: Don’t have poles for a box? Do your 360 without a box. Use sticks, poles or pool noodles. Tote any object from Point A to B. Have person hand it to you if you have nothing to pick it up from or even drop at Point B. Don’t have a tarp? Use a sheet or towel!
