The Effingham County Extension Office will be closed to the public, but we will still be available to receive phone calls. Soil samples and/or 4-H payments and paperwork can be dropped off by appointment only. Please call the office (912) 754-8040 if you need to request these services.

Dec 9 Practicing Self-Care This 2-hour session will focus on how caring for yourself is important for your health, and it is directly related to your ability to care for others. The class will be offered in-person with limited seats and virtually via ZOOM. The ZOOM link will be sent to those wanting to participate virtually once you register for the class.

Dec 10 Lunch & Learn: Pruning Basics ‘Pruning Basics’ is a one hour interactive class designed to provide a fun & educational learning opportunity with Jessica Warren, ANR Agent. Twelve free, virtual classes will be offered to the public during 2021. One class per month is offered on the second Friday of each month January through December from 12-1pm. Registration is required for each individual session. Email firstname.lastname@example.org to register. A press release with all offered classes is attached. Once registered for a class, an email will be sent with the link to attend each individual session on the day prior to the class. All classes will be archived.
