  • Nov 23 4-H Project Achievement Pajama Movie Night Fundraiser Join us for a fun-filled Pajama Movie Night on November 23rd, from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the Clayton County Extension Office, 1262 Government Circle, Jonesboro, GA 30236. This event is open to all Cloverleaf and Junior 4-H'ers (4th-8th grade), and it's the perfect way to enjoy a cozy night with friends while supporting a great cause! This fundraiser is to help raise funds for our 4-H'ers attending Project Achievement on March 7-9, 2025. Your $10 admission includes a free bag of popcorn and water, but remember to bring extra cash for concessions! We'll have delicious snacks available for purchase ranging from $1 to $6 (cash only). Put on your favorite pajamas, grab a blanket, and come ready for a fun night of movies and fundraising!

  • Jan 16 Understanding Credit Workshop for 7-12th Graders Join us for an interactive virtual workshop, Understanding Credit, on January 16, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM, tailored for 9th-12th graders. This session will help students learn about responsible credit use, understand open- and closed-end credit, and make informed financial decisions. They will explore different types of credit, as well as the advantages and disadvantages of each, and gain valuable tips on protecting themselves from identity theft risks.   • Feb 1 County Cloverleaf Project Achievement The GA 4-H Clayton County Cloverleaf Project Achievement is an exciting event designed for 4th to 6th-grade students, providing a platform to develop and showcase their skills in various project areas. The county competition will be held on February 1st at the Michelle Obama STEM Academy from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and is open to all Clayton County public school system students. Participants will present their projects to judges, with the chance to advance to the district level. Students who place in the competition will participate in dress rehearsals to prepare for the district competition, scheduled for March. This event is an excellent opportunity for young students to gain public speaking experience, build confidence, and celebrate their hard work and achievements.
