4-H Air Rifle and Air Pistol Teams

Air Rifle is open to all kids in 7th through 12th grades, but it is highly encouraged that kids shoot a year with the BB team to learn fundamentals before going on to Air Rifle.  Our practice schedule is most Mondays and Fridays at 6:30pm in the Ag Center, from August until June.  Contact the Extension Office for more details at 770-836-8546 or email head coach Nikki Purvis at nikki.purvis@uga.edu. 

  • 2027 Dues- $170, this covers club shirt, 5 postal matches, and 2 state matches
  • Equipment- Air Rifle and pellets; scope; scope stand; sling; off-hand stand; hand stop; mat; kneeling roll; safety glasses; bag (Club has a limited supply of gear to loan out- check with the team before you buy anything)
  • Competitions at: CMP South Competition Center in Anniston Al; Walton County Ag Center in Monroe, GA; Ware County Shooting Complex in Waycross GA; Georgia Military College in Milledgeville GA; Camp Perry in Port Clinton OH

NEW! AIR PISTOL!

 

Carroll County is now offering Air Pistol to kids in Carroll County in grades 6-12.  The club is very new and has very limited club equipment.  Please call the office at 770-836-8546 or email Coach Nikki at nikki.purvis@uga.edu to ask about cost and equipment.
