Cloverleaf 4-Her's 4th - 6th Grades

Cloverleaf 4-H Meetings

Cloverleaf 4-H'ers are 4th, 5th, and 6th grade 4-H members that meet in their respective classrooms at school. Meetings focus on developing leadership skills through opportunities to become club officers and developing public speaking skills through oral demonstrations. Educational programs are conducted each month including Public Speaking, Cells & Microorganisms, Geology, Ecology, Water Cycle and Weather & Climate.

Other Cloverleaf events and activities include 4-H Dances, Shooting Sports and Livestock Shows. All of our 4-H Dances have a theme such as Back-to-School Luau, Halloween, Harvest, Winter, Disney, Valentine's Day, St. Patrick’s Day, Superhero and the Retro Dance.

Cloverleaf grades 4th, 5th, and 6th are eligible for both the Archery and BB Teams. Livestock teams depend on the availability of leaders and volunteers, the animals the 4-H’ers want to show and the shows your 4-H’er want to attend, but can start as early as 1st grade through 12th grade.

Cloverleaf Project Achievement

Our biggest Cloverleaf events are the County Project Achievement and District Project Achievement both of which are hosted here in Union County.

County Project Achievement is a classroom public speaking competition after students have researched their individual topic of interest, written a speech and presented this speech with visual aides to classmates and judges in their own classrooms. Winners of this competition are then invited to attend the District Project Achievement competition against other winners from visiting surrounding counties. District Project Achievement competition is the final level in the Cloverleaf division.
