4-H Camp Information
General Camp Information
PACKING INFORMATION: Many parents have questions about what students can and cannot pack for camp. We created a video slideshow that hopefully answers most of your questions about packing your child from camp. The video slideshow can be viewed if you Click Here
SPECIAL NOTE: Youth in 4th-6th grade are NOT ALLOWED to take phones or other expensive electronics to camp. Youth are encouraged to pack a cheap digital camera or a disposable camera if they wish to take photos of their week at camp. Youth in 7th-12th grade are allowed to take phones to camp; however, please be aware that the Extension staff and volunteers have the right to collect phones from students if at any point they cause an issue during camp
Register Online Beginning February 3rd for all camps!
This year, we will be using an online system to accept camp registration. The system will accept payment by card and can help us track registrations, payments, quota numbers, and other valuable information. This is the same system we used last year, so if your child attended camp in 2023 or has competed in DPA, they probably already have an account you created for them. You should be able to reset your password if you forgot it from last year!
The public registration page for Cloverleaf Camp can be accessed here: Cloverleaf Camp Registration Site
NOTE: When you click “Add to Cart”, it should prompt you to create an account. As the parent\guardian, you should choose the option to create a family/group account. This will allow you to use your own information for contact and payment, while registering one or more children for 4-H opportunities throughout the year. You will need to create a user for your child and add that user to your cart for the event. If you have technical issues, please give us a call at (912) 557-6724, ext. 0.

Scholarship Information
Each year, Tattnall County 4-H offers youth the opportunity to apply for a limited number of scholarships which are sponsored by donors on the County, District & State Level. All Tattnall County youth from 4th-12th grade are eligible to apply for these scholarships. Criteria for scholarship selection includes: Financial Need and 4-H Participation.
The scholarship application should be completed online here. There is not a recommendation letter required this year.
In order to be considered for a scholarship, you must complete the online scholarship application and submit it no later than February 3rd, 2024. Scholarships will be awarded on a rollling basis as funds become available. Your child will receive final notification by April 1st of whether they will or will not be receiving a scholarship. If your child applied for a scholarship and you have question about the status of your child's application, please email us at rbowen1@uga.edu and we will be happy to assist you.
Fundraiser Opportunities
ANNUAL TREE & PLANT SALE: We will be having the Tree & Plant sale fundraiser again this year to help students raise money for camp. You can click here to learn more about that sale. Youth will receive 20% of sale amount in 4-H Credit to be spent on 4-H events and activities happening prior to August 1, 2024. Prior to fundraising, please be sure your child has a plan to use their credit this summer. As always, fundraiser credit has no CASH VALUE and must be applied to a 4-H activity or event in Tattnall County.
BLOOD DRIVE FUNDRAISER: This year, we will be partnering with THE BLOOD CONNECTION to host a Blood Drive in Tattnall County. For each blood donor who attends the blood drive, a small donation is made to Tattnall County 4-H. Our hope is to set up this fundraiser so that for every donor who mentions your 4-H'ers name during registration, that small donation about can be deducted from your camp balance. This fundraiser will take place later in the Spring and more details will be posted once details are finalized. If details haven't been posted, it is because our staff is still in the planning stages and finalizing those details.
DONUT SALE: As of this time we DO NOT plan to do the Krispy Kreme Donut Fundraiser this year. Since we have already received many questions about it, we wanted to go ahead and let everyone know that we won't be doing it as of now.
Note: While some surrounding counties sell candy bars as a camp fundraiser, we do not do this since it is a major fundraiser for our local BETA students and a few other school clubs.
