4-H Summer Camps

Muscogee-Chattahoochee 4-H offers several Summer Camp opportunities for students in 4th through 12th grade.  Registration for Cloverleaf Camp (4th-6th Grade) opens February 13th.  Registration for Middle School and High School camps are open now.  Spots are limited. Details for each camp option are listed below.  For more information, contact the UGA Extension office at 706-225-4200 or email your 4-H agent, Megan Shockley, at mfshockley@uga.edu.

Cloverleaf Camp (4th-6th grade students) 

  • Registration opens February 13th

  • Limited Spaces Available

  • A completed online application AND a deposit of $100.00 is due at registration to reserve your child’s space.

  • Scholarship opportunities are available through an application process accessed on the camp registration link. Scholarship applications must be completed by March 6, 2026.

  • Total camp cost is $500.00

  • Payments can be made with cash or card at our office, 1111 1st Avenue, 1st Floor, Suite 1150, Columbus, GA 31901

  • Card payments by phone can be accepted at 706-225-4200.

  • After the $100 deposit is paid, the remaining balance of $400.00 is due by June 15, 2026. Additional split payments will gladly be accepted.

  • The $100 deposit becomes non-refundable after April 2, 2026.

  • Registration is limited! A waitlist will be created once spaces fill.

  • Price includes lodging, meals, bus transportation, insurance, camp t-shirt, and all camp activities.
  • Rock Eagle is located in Eatonton, GA, about 2.5 hours from Columbus.
  • Safety measures are stressed; swimming is supervised by certified lifeguards and adult leaders.
  • 4‐H’ers are supervised by 4-H staff and background-checked adult leaders.
  • The cabins are nicely furnished with air conditioning, bunk beds, & bathrooms.
  • All meals are served in the dining hall.

Adventure Quest Camp at Fortson 4-H Center

June 29-July 3

$450

*Transportation is provided for this camp*

Includes a trip to the Georgia Aquarium, dinner,  a drone show at Stone Mountain Park, and a trip to Spivey Splash Water Park.

 

Wilderness Challenge Camp at Wahsega 4-H Center 

June 8-12

$425

*Must provide own transportation to and from camp*

Explore the great outdoors with waterfalls, rafting, campfires, and s’mores.

 

Marine Exploration Camp at Burton 4-H Center

June 15-19

$425

*Must provide own transportation to and from camp*

Includes a Savannah River Dinner Cruise, a trip to River Street, and a shark dissection.

Senior Extreme Camp at Rock Eagle 4-H Center 

June 1-5 OR June 8-12

$425

Primitive camping experience with tent camping, preparation of campers’ own meals, and a focus on outdoor recreational activities.

 

Senior Camp at Jekyll 4-H Center 

June 29-July 3

$425

Includes a trip to Summer Waves Water Park, a trawl boat tour, and a visit to St. Simons Island.

 

Senior Camp at Wahsega 4-H Center 

July 6-10

$425

Includes a white-water rafting trip and a trip into Dahlonega.
