Project Achievement

file

School Project Achievement (SPA) takes place in the classroom during the month of February. Those who place are invited to present at the district-level competition. The Cloverleaf District Project Achievement (DPA) is a district-wide event where 4th, 5th, and 6th graders present a project on the topic of their choice. DPA takes place on a Saturday in December. We invite all Gilmer County students to participate in either the Cloverleaf District Project Achievement or the Junior/Senior Project Achievement which takes place on an overnight weekend trip to Rock Eagle 4-H Center in Eatonton, Georgia in March, portfolios are due towards the end of December for judging.

Project Achievement is one of the largest and most exciting, challenging and rewarding programs offered by Georgia 4-H. 4-H’ers choose a project area of interest, research a topic, then write and present an oral presentation to others. For Cloverleaf 4-H’ers, students in grades 4-6, this process is about hands on learning, self confidence, and sharing knowledge. Competition begins at the school, local, or county level and can advance to a district level. Please refer to the complete list of projects available through Georgia 4-H.
