4-H Summer Camps

How would you like to join 4-H'ers from around the state for the perfect summer vacation, with all the fun and adventure you can imagine? This summer will be the most awesome summer of your life. You could spend time at beautifuil  Rock Eagle in Eatonton, GA, the beach at Jekyll Island, Tybee Island, or the mountains of Georgia with other 4-H'ers that will soon become great friends!
Your days and nights will be packed with fun filled games and exciting advetnures and  educational classes, such as: Archery, canoeing, dances, swimming and much more.

Camp Registration

Our camps are available on a first come, first serve basis and we have limited spaces for each.

Payment Information

Please note that your registration is not complete until we have received your deposit. Payment plans are available. You may pay your camp fee in full at time of registration.

Payment can be submitted one of two ways:

Camp Scholarships
We have partical camp scholarships available for Cloverleaf Camp. These scholarships are made available through the Pat Hackney Scholarship Fund. Camp Scholaships will be awarded based on finanical need and involvment in 4-H. All applicants will be requird to pay a $100.00 deposit; this will go toward the overall camp fee. If your child is not selected to receive a scholarship and you no longer want to send your child to camp, your deposit will be refunded in full.

If the 4-H'er is awarded a scholarship, he/she will be required to write a think you not to the Chatham County 4-H Advisory Board.

Partiial scholarships will be provided to a limited number of 4-H'ers. There are several requirments that must be met before funds are  awarded. There will be an extensive screening process in selecting scholarship recipents. To be eligible for the scholarship to attend camp, 4-H'ers must:

Indicate in a 1 page essay how they become involved with 4-H and list what they have learned through their 4-H sessions either at school, community club meetings, while attending Project Achievement or any other 4-H events/activities.

1. Have a Letter of Recommendation from a current teacher.

2. Application

3. The deadline for the application, essay, and teacher;s letter of recommendation is Tuesday, April 29, 2020.

4. Notification of awarded scholarships will be emailed to parents by Tuesday, May 12, 2020.

All applicants are required to register and pay the $100.00 deposit due by Tuesday, May 26, 2020.

Scholarship Directions

Chatham County 4-H is providing partical scholarships to current 4th -6th grade 4-Her's attending summer camp. One requirement is a teacher's letter of recommendation. The partiial scholarships that will be provided to a limited number of 4-Her's,  has several requirements that must be met before funds are awarded. There will be an extensive screening process in selecting scholarship receipents.

Must be included in Teacher's Letter of Recommendation:

* The character, behavior and classroom accomplishments of the student.

* Describe the students ability to be a team player.

* other comments to help the Chatham 4-H Staff further understand the qualilties of this young person.
