4-H Youth Development
To assist youth in acquiring knowledge, developing life skills, and forming attitudes that will enable them to become self-directing, productive and contributing members of society. This mission is accomplished, through "hands on" learning experiences. As a program of UGA Extension, 4-H is part of the nationwide Extension network.

Additional State 4-H Events
Junior Rally, Junior Conference , Senior Conference, State Council & 4-H Fall Forum
Provide opportunities for Georgia 4-H’ers to participate in joint 4-H service learning projects, attend classes and workshops on youth “hot topics”, college and career sessions, and Project Achievement and Portfolio classes. All classes are 4-H’er led and educational. Classes focus on leadership, citizenship, and healthy lifestyles. Side benefits – friends and the dances!
