What is UGA Extension?

UGA Extension is a county, state and federal funded organization supported by specialists in the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences and the College of Family and Consumer Sciences.

As the name implies, we are an extension of the University of Georgia, acting as a public service offering research and educational programs in:

We serve all 159 of Georgia's counties in county Extension offices, research stations, and 4-H centers statewide, as well as participate in outreach programs abroad.
