  • Jun 3 - Jun 7 Junior Camp at Burton 4-H Center (7th – 8th graders) 4-H Junior Camp is open to all Walton County 7th & 8th graders and will be held at the Burton 4-H Center, Tybee Island from June 3rd – 7th, 2024. Activities and classes will emphasize Marine & Coastal Ecology. Activities include Riverboat Dinner Cruise, River Street Trolley, Tybee Lighthouse Tour & Beach Swim. Transportation TBD. Additional details and packing information will be emailed to parents. Partial 4-H Camp Scholarships are available and based on 4-H participation and financial need. Contact Walton County 4-H Office for scholarship Application. If you would like to apply, register your child following regular camp sign-up procedures There will be a $75.00 camp deposit. After registration and deposit is complete, scholarship applications should be submitted to 4-H/Extension Staff.

Additional details and packing information will be emailed to parents. Partial 4-H Camp Scholarships are available and based on 4-H participation and financial need.   • Jun 17 - Jun 21 Wilderness Challenge Camp at Wahsega (6th – 8th graders) Wilderness Challenge is open to all Walton County 6th – 8th graders and will be held at the Wahsega 4-H Center from June 17th – 21st, 2024. Sixth graders must be 12 years old by June 17, 2024. Activities include zip line, climbing wall, white water rafting, survival tracking, navigation, fire building, outdoor survival skills and more! Transportation TBD. Additional details and packing information will be emailed to parents. Partial 4-H Camp Scholarships are available and based on 4-H participation and financial need.   • Jun 24 - Jun 28 Walton County 4-H Cloverleaf Camp Rock Eagle (Grades 5-6) 4-H Camp is open to all Walton County 5th & 6th graders and is scheduled for June 24- 28 at Rock Eagle 4-H Center. Campers will take educational classes, participate in recreational activities, meet people from all over Georgia, make new friends and have the time of their lives! Cost includes transportation, insurance, lodging, all activities, t- shirt and meals. Additional information will be emailed to parents in May. Camp Orientation meetings will be held in May-attendance is highly encouraged. Partial 4-H Camp Scholarships are available and based on 4-H participation and financial need.
