Shotgun Club
The Taylor County S.A.F.E. Shotgun Club has an outstanding tradition of providing top notch education and safety to youth as they participate in the Modified Trap, American Skeet, American Trap (16-yard), and Sporting Clays. It is open to all youth from 7th through 12th grades.
Mission
The focus of all 4-H Programs is the development of youth as individuals and as responsible and productive citizens. The Taylor County Shotgun Club allows our Youth to learn marksmanship, the safe and responsible use of firearms, and much more. The activities of the program and the support of caring adult leaders provide young people with opportunities to develop life skills, self-worth, and conservation ethics.
Membership
The Taylor County 4-H Shotgun Club is open to all youth in grades 7th-12th grade. Youth must successfully complete the Georgia or another states Hunter Education course prior to enrolling.
Registration
Registration fee is $160 for the 2023-2024 season; deadline to register is TBA. Call or come by the Taylor County Extension/4-H Office to pickup paperwork or for more information.
