This educational series is designed for small-scale flock owners or those simply interested in learning more about poultry. There will also be a class for the Georgia Department of Agriculture's Egg Candling Certification Course. The Egg Candling Certificate is required for those who wish to sell eggs to consumers at places other than their farm. There is more information about the Georgia Egg Law here. The Egg Candling Certification Course is FREE.
There will be three educational sessions about flock management, diseases, food safety, carcass cutting, and laying hens. All sessions will be taught by University of Georgia specialists.
