Volunteer Trainings
Certified Coaches are essential for the development of our youth in a range of specified skills. Coaches will actively engage with young people as they sharpen their team’s skills, interests, and knowledge about a certain judging topic. Volunteers who go through 4-H training and certification have the opportunity to coach a number of judging teams.
As a volunteer you will cultivate the leadership and communication skills necessary to help Georgia’s youth succeed in a specified, judged skill or subject. Volunteer coaches who share a passion for the judging subject of their choosing will be an active role model for the young members on their team. Coaches will be enthusiastic, dependable, and have a positive attitude for the development of their team’s skills. All volunteers interested in becoming a coach will go through a training and certification process offered by Georgia 4-H.
