4-H Youth Development

Dodge County 4-H is an educational program teaching leadership, citizenship and practical life skills. The goal is to make learning FUN! It is the youth phase of the UGA Extension program. Your local branch is located at 230 Foster Street, Suite A, Eastman, Georgia.

Over 800  young people in Dodge County participate in 4-H activities. 4-H Clubs are a part of the Dodge County School System. There are also 4-H activities outside of school. 4-H is open to all youth ages 9 - 19.

Cloverleaf 4-H Clubs are made up of 4th, 5th and 6th graders. Your 4-H Agent will meet with them during the school day.

Junior 4-H Clubs are made up of 7th and 8th graders. Your 4-H Agent will meet with them during the school day.

Senior 4-Hers meet once a month after school. Check with the Extension Service for the meeting times, dates, and locations. All students in 9th through 12th grades are invited to attend.
