4-H Clubs


Specialty Clubs 

Specialty Clubs are available for students who live or attend school in Columbia County.  Club registration will open at 8am on Wednesday October 4, and will remain open until all spaces are filled.  All registration must be done via Google Form.  Payment must be made either by check, via mail, or in-person at the Extension Office.  We accept checks, cash, card, and money orders.  We do not have online or phone payment options at this time.  
Our address is 6420 Pollards Pond Rd. Appling, GA 30802.  We are open M-F from 8-5, closed 12-1 for lunch.  
All clubs will meet at the Extension Office.  Special events/field trips may take place around the community, depending on the club.  

Craft Club - Grades 5-12- $55

Let’s get creative!  In this fun club, you’ll learn how to make a variety of crafts from wreaths to ornaments, and everything in between!

Military Kids Club - Grades 4-12- $40

This club is open to students whose parents are in or have retired from the military (all branches including Reserve/Guard).  Students will learn skill relating to resiliency, coping with deployment, and finding a sense of self as a child in the military world.  This club also places importance on community service.  

Meets monthly on the third Tuesday of the month.



Animal Science Club - Grades 6-9- Price TBD

Join us to discover the world of animal science! Topics include veterinary medicine, animal husbandry, biology, anatomy and more! The club meets monthly on the third Thursday of the month.



Photography 101 Club - Grades 5-12/First Year Photography Students- $85

Join this club to learn how to use photography equipment and different photography types, build a portfolio, and participate in community service!  

Meets the second Monday of the month from 6-7.



Photography & Beyond Club - Returning Photography Students ONLY- $125

This club builds on skills gained in the Photography 101 Club, but members will also learn how to plan and execute a community event, while continuing to build their professional portfolio.  

Meets the second Monday of the month from 7-8 pm.



***Registration information for Archery (grades 5-12) and Shotgun (grades 7-12) will be available in December.
