Target Sports

General Info

Coffee County 4-H Club offers a broad range of Target Sports to its members. Programs offered include: (Click to view Georgia 4-H Competition Rules for each program area.)

22 Rifle (9th - 12th grades)

Air Pistol (7th - 12th grades)

Air Rifle (9th - 12th grades)

BB Rifle (4th - 8th grades)

To join one of these programs, a student needs to fill out a Target Sports Enrollment Form for the current school year and return it to the 4-H office. The form is available on our web site or may be picked up at the 4-H office. For more information on the Georgia 4-H Target Sports program, visit http://georgia4h.org/safe

Our coaches require all participants to take the Hunter Safety Education Course. Participants need to take this as soon as possible.

Competitors take a written exam at each competition. The State 4-H Practice BB Test is a great way to pratice for this exam.
