• Apr 7 ServSafe ® Employee Food Handler Training ServSafe® Food Handler training is designed for individuals in food handler employee-level positions and verifies basic food safety knowledge. The training includes a participant workbook and covers content such as personal hygiene, preventing cross-contamination, food allergies, proper cleaning and sanitizing, and time and temperature control for safety. Certification is valid for three years following the successful completion of the training and exam. Registration is $35 per participant. The Georgia Master Gardener Extension Volunteer (MGEV) Program connects UGA Extension, plant enthusiasts, and communities across the state. MGEVs share UGA Extension consumer horticulture programming about selection and care of plants for ornamental value, recreation, and home food production. Master Gardeners teach community members how to use plants and gardening to improve their environment, personal health, and quality of life.
