UGA Extension is a county, state, and federal funded organization supported by specialists in the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences and the College of Family and Consumer Sciences.

UGA Extension Pike County links resources of the University of Georgia and Pike County to provide educational programs, information, and assistance to the citizens of Pike County.

Upcoming Events with Pike County Extension

  • Jul 10 Lunch and Learn: Seed Saving Join Pike County Extension in 2024 dive into Homestead Skills with monthly, virtual Lunch and Learns hosted on the second Wednesday of each month (with the exception of holidays). Each month will discover a new topic with experts leading the way. Simply email Brooklyne.Wassel@uga.edu to receive the Zoom link or catch the recordings on our YouTube channel. "Seed Saving" will be led by UGA Extension Agent Jacob Williams.

  • Jul 25 - Jul 26 4-H2O Camp (Pike and Spalding Counties) Join in on educational, water fun for two days with trained environmental educators! Students will play water games, take field trips, and learn about water and environmental concepts during this action-packed camp. Each day will begin at 9:00 am and end at 4:00 pm. This camp is intended for rising 5th through 8th grade students. Space is limited to 24 students, so register early.
