May 28 Wilkes Lincoln Farm Safety Camp Washington, GA THURSDAY< MAY 28th at McGill-Woodruff Ag Center. For kids who have completed kindergarten through 5th grade. $10 registration. Forms available at Wilkes and Lincoln Extension Offices. Classes include: Electrical Safety, Lawn Mower Safety, Boating Safety, Bus Safety, Gun Safety, Fire Safety, and Reptiles. Registered campers will receive 2 snacks, lunch, t-shirt, and goody bag. Check-in at 8:30 am and classes from 9:00-3:00. Parents pick up at 3:00pm. Deadline to register is May 8th. No late registrations.
May 30 Athens Honeybee Festival Bogart, GA - (49.0 miles) Come join us at the Honeybee Festival! There will be hive explorations, honey tasting, crafts for the kids, vendors, and the Boss Dawg food truck! This event is free to the public. We can't wait for you to see what all the buzz is about!
