Apr 10 - Apr 11 Homeowner Pecan Production Workshop Jackson, GA - (79.0 miles) Interested in growing pecans or improving your backyard orchard? Join us for the Homeowner Pecan Production Workshop hosted by Jasper and Butts County! This hands-on program will cover everything you need to know to get started or take your pecan trees to the next level—topics include tree selection and planting, soil fertility, pest and disease management, orchard maintenance, and harvest handling. Whether you're a beginner or considering small-scale commercial production, there's something for you! Apr 10 Jasper-Butts Backyard Pecan Production Program Jackson, GA - (79.0 miles) This one-day event will be hosted at the Butts County Extension Office (576 Ernest Biles Dr. Jackson Ga 30233) and will cover topics regarding homeowner pecan production and will also touch on some small scale commercial production. The class will begin 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM April 10th, 2026. Registration for the event is $10. Please register on or before April 6th. Lunch will be provided.
