Dial Gauge Testing

Dial gauge pressure canners need to be checked for accuracy each year. The test is free and only takes a few minutes. You can get your dial gauges checked at the Carroll County Extension office starting on the first Friday in March until the end of the fall season.

Times will be from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Please call to make an appointment.

Pressure canners with a weighted gauge do not have to be tested for accuracy because they can not go out of calibration.

If you have any questions please call your County Extension Office nearest you at: 1.800.ASK.UGA1 (1.800.275.8421).
