Get educated about Coronavirus (COVID-19): The CDC and USDA offer the latest guidelines for preventing the spread of the virus and answers to many questions. UGA provides information about health, travel, emergency preparedness and campus operations through their website. UGA Extension offers resources on sanitizing your home, hand washing, emergency food supplies, and keeping farm operations running.

Effective Monday, March 16, 2020, Polk County Extension will follow the guidelines set by Polk County government to restrict public access to county buildings as a precaution and to limit exposure from person to person contact.

Residents needing to conduct business with our office should contact us at 770-749-2142 or email us at uge2233@uga.edu.

This action will remain in place for at least the next 14 days and may be extended as necessary.
