Coleslaw

Coleslaw is not necessarily what comes to mind when we think of kid friendly recipes, but it is a surprisingly good fit for school gardens produce and classroom preparation. Use the grating attachment on your food processor to put together this traditional cabbage and carrot recipe in less than ten minutes. Use kohlrabi or broccoli slaw recipes to change it up, or appeal to your students' love of spiciness with the siracha slaw.
