After-School Activities

file

Putnam County 4-H offers a variety of after school activities and clubs that youth can join!

Due to COVID-19 we have some additional protocols that we must follow in order to have face-to-face programming at the office.

IMPORTANT PLEASE READ BEFORE ARRIVING.

We will update this information as the guidance from the University of Georgia and Putnam County Board of Education changes.

Screening Protocol Process

Due to social distancing rules, we have a limit of 8 youth per face-to-face activity, so parents/guardians MUST call to sign up prior to arrival.

Upon arrival, youth will be screened for covid-19 symptoms and temperatures will be checked. Any 4-H'er with a temperature reading 100.4 °F or higher will not be allowed to participate, and parent's will be called to pick their 4-H'er up. Please do not attend 4-H activities if you are currently under quarantine or recently been exposed to someone with covid.

Consistent with Putnam County Board of Education, masks are required for 4-H after-school activities.

Required Participation Forms

The Georgia 4-H Medical Release and Code of Conduct forms are required to participate in all programs. A new Medical Release Form is required for each activity. The Code of Conduct is now an online form that will be sent to parents via email prior to the event. The Code of Conduct form once filled out online will last through the rest of the 4-H year (until July 30th). A copy of the Code of Conduct is provided below:
