District and State Events

These events take place throughout the year and allow youth the opportunity to grow themselves and meet other youth involved in 4-H from across the state. There is a registration cost associated with all of these events. For specific dates and registration costs please call or email our office!

  • Weekend in the Classic City (WICC): 9th - 12th graders are invited to a weekend at Rock Eagle where they will visit UGA to experience college life and learn a little bit more about the college process. This event typically takes place in November.
  • Junior Conference: 6th - 8th graders are invited to a weekend at Rock Eagle 4-H Center to participate in fun workshops and recreational activities. This event typically takes place in November.
  • Fall Forum: 9th - 12th graders are invited to a weekend at Rock Eagle 4-H Center to participate in fun workshops and recreational activities. This event typically takes place in December.
  • 4-H Day at the Capitol: 9th - 12th graders are invited to spend a day at our state capitol visiting with our local representatives. This event typically takes place in February.
  • Senior Conference: 9th - 12th graders are invited to a weekend at Rock Eagle for 4-H prom! This also includes speakers, workshops, share fair, and more! This event typically takes place in April.
    • This will take place April 9th - April 10th
    • Event will be held at Rock Eagle
  • Junior Rally: 6th - 8th graders are invited to a weekend at Wahsega 4-H Center to participate in fun workshops and recreational activities. This event typically takes place in April.
    • This will take place on April 23rd - April 24th
    • Event will be held at Wahsega 4-H Center
  • Fortson Fun Day: 4th-6th graders are invited to a fun-filled day at Fortson 4-H Center. 
    • This event is taking place June 3rd, 2022 9 AM-4 PM
    • Event will take place at Fortson 4-H Center 
    • The cost is $25
    • Possible activities are wilderness survival, zip linning, kickball, farm visiting, rock wall climbing, canoeing, herpetology, and team building.
