EFNEP is an interactive educational series called Food Talk where participants try new recipes and learn how to stretch their food dollars, improve nutrition practices, and prevent food-borne illness.
The Food Talk curriculum is designed for caregivers and parents of young children as well as pregnant women and teens. Families who are eligible for any type of public assistance are eligible or EFNEP.
EFNEP provides all teaching materials and recipe demonstration ingredients at no cost to our partners or participants. Kitchen facilities are not necessary. We only require a table and electricity.
