Description
The Richmond County 4-H Garden Club is open to students in 2nd-12th grades, who are interested in gardening, agriculture, and pollinators. It is led by Augusta Area Master Gardener Mrs. Joy Brown. The garden club members will participate in hands-on activities such as planting seeds, seedlings, caring for garden beds, identifying pollinators, harvesting fresh produce, and learning how healthy soil and plants support our community. Meetings are held at Belle Terrace Presbyterian Church Community Garden, located at 2473 Golden Camp Road, Augusta GA 30906, once a month on the first Saturday at 8:00am-9:30am, during the months of May-October. The garden club will meet from 10:00am-11:30am during the months of November-April. IMPORTANT INFORMATION: SEPTEMBER AND OCTOBER'S MEETING WILL BE HELD ON THE SECOND SATURDAY!
