4-H Archery Team
What is the 4-H Archery Team?
Tattnall County 4-H offers youth the opportunity to compete in indoor and outdoor archery competitions. Sign up for the archery team is held each year in August. There is a registration fee to join the team. Our archery program is led by a team of dedicated volunteers and parents. For more information about the archery, please contact us at (912) 557-6724.
Who can join?
The 4-H archery team is open to Tattnall County youth in 5th-12th grade who are interested in learning about safe shooting practices and building their skills in archery. Youth must currently reside in Tattnall County or attend a Tattnall County school (public, private or homeschool).
Will you join us for the 2018 Tattnall County 4-H Outdoor Archery Invitational Match?
All Southeast District 4-H Archery Teams are invited to register for and attend the annual outdoor match Registration forms are below. All youth who participate must have a signed Medical Release Form to be kept and filed by their county for insurance purposes. Many thanks to Tattnall County High School for hosting the event.

Interested in becoming a Volunteer?
Volunteers are needed for the Tattnall County 4-H Archery Team to help supervise youth at practices when they are not on the shooting range, to help score targets at practice and matches, to help with hosting local county tournaments, and so much more. Becoming a screened volunteer is one of the best ways to help out with the archery team other than becoming a certified coach.
- Adult volunteers must be at least 18 years old--Must be 21 years old to transport youth or 4-H equipment.
- All Volunteers must complete a Volunteer Agreement
- Volunteers working with youth must complete a Volunteer Application, supply 3 non-related references, pass a background check, and complete the online training, Georgia 4-H: Working with Youth & Managing Risk.
- Volunteer drivers must pass a Motor Vehicle screening (included in volunteer application).
If you are interested in becoming a screened volunteer, please complete the documents linked above and submit to the Tattnall County Extension Office. Once you have done so, the county extension staff can send you a link to the online training and will initiate your background screening (now an online process).
