Master Gardener Program
Do you have an interest in horticulture and enjoy giving back to your community?
Typically we host classes in March - May. In 2019 our classes are hosted on Tuesdays Cost of the program is $125, which includes all fees, your handbooks, and name tag. Master Gardener Extension Volunteers bring the latest horticultural information and practices from the world of scientific research to their communities' landscapes and gardens.
Through this program, individuals are trained and certified in horticulture and related areas. These individuals, in turn, volunteer their expertise and services, under the direction of their County Extension Agent, to assist others through horticultural projects that benefit the community. 50 hours are required in year 1, 25 thereafter.
