Master Gardener Program

MG palm

Do you have an interest in horticulture and enjoy giving back to your community?

You may want to consider becoming a Master Gardener Extension Volunteer!

Master Gardener Extension Volunteers bring the latest horticultural information and practices from the world of scientific research to their communities' landscapes and gardens.

Through this program, individuals are trained and certified in horticulture and related areas. These individuals, in turn, volunteer their expertise and services, under the direction of their County Extension Agent, to assist others through horticultural projects that benefit the community.

Our office will be conducting a Master Gardener Volunteer training program in the winter of 2018. Classes begin on March 6th and run through May 22 meeting on Tuesdays 8:30 am - noon.  If you would like to be added to our list of interested folks, please submit the Master Gardener interest form or contact our office.
