Applications/Entry Forms/Flyers for Current Events

  • Northwest Georgia Regional Fair - enter the fair contests and competitions, including livestock shows, livestock judging contest, and blue ribbon competitions; livestock entries due by August 24; livestock judging by September 7; blue ribbon entries are accepted September 5 and 6
  • Photography Contest - open to 4th-12th grade students and adults; entries must be submitted using this form by August 30.
  • 4-H Food Showcase - 4 different food preparation contests held on September 7 at Rock Eagle 4-H Center; open to 7th-12th graders; registration is due by August 31
  • Southern Region Teen Leadership Conference - conference held in Crossville, TN September 20-23 for high school students in the Southeastern US; cost is $230 and registration is due by August 31
  • Georgia National Fair 4-H Contests - static exhibits, family contests, cooking competitions, and more; Gordon County registration deadline is September 14.  See complete rules and contest information for full details.
  • Holiday Card Contest - open to 5th-12th grade 4-H'ers, top prize is $50 and card may be used for Georgia 4-H's holiday cards; entries are due by Thursday, October 4.
  • Pumpkin Growing Contest - cash prizes will be awarded for top 3 in the state, and the top county grower will receive a t-shirt; all pumpkins have to be weighed and entered by the 4-H office by October 25.
