What is the Service Club?
This club meets on the first Saturday of every month. 4-H’ers will give back to their community while having fun! If you are looking for a way to make a difference this is for you!
Age: 4th-12th grade
Meeting Dates 2018-2019
Service Club will meet on the first Saturday of every month from 10:00am - 11:30am. Some meetings will meet in Room 210 in our office complex, and some will meet at a different location. Please read the following descriptions carefully and check your 4-H Friday email updates for any reminders or changes in location.
September 1st This meeting will meet in 210. 4-H'ers will be making dog toys out of old t-shirts. Please bring any old t-shirts that you don't wear anymore to donate!
October 6th* This meeting will meet at Tractor Supply (939 Glynn St N, Fayetteville GA). 4-H'ers will be representing and promoting 4-H at our annual Paper Clover Event. This event helps raise money for the local 4-H programs by encouraging patrons to purchase a paper 4-H clover for $1. 4-H'ers will assist patrons in their shopping needs (if the patron desires) or store employees at the registers.
November 3rd* This meeting will join up with other 4-H'ers for our yearly Rivers Alive Clean Up. Please meet at Line Creek Nature Area in Peachtree City. The clean up will begin at 9 am and continue until 12 pm. 4-H'er are encouraged to attend the clean up in it's entirety, however an Extension Staff member will meet any 4-H'er at 10 am if they cannot make it any earlier.
December 1st* This meeting will meet at The Bloom Closet (150 Marquis Dr, Fayetteville GA). We love helping out this organization! They help provide clothing, books, toys, and more for kids in the foster system.

February 2nd- This meeting will take place in room 210. Join us in decorating cupcakes and writing thank you cards for our County Commissioners.
April 6th*- This meeting will meet at Patriot Park (132 Old Senoia Rd, Fayetteville GA). The Fayette County Extension Office has a pollinator garden at Patriot Park that we will help weed, plant, and other general maintenece work. Wear clothes that you don't mind getting dirty, a hat to keep the sun out of your face, a water bottle, and a pair of work gloves to this Service Club meeting!
