Project S.A.F.E.

The 4-H BB Gun Club is part of the 4-H S.A.F.E. (Shooting, Awareness, Fun and Education) Program. SAFE was created to teach kids how to properly handle a gun through a program that institutes safety as its top priority. Gun safety is taught through the use of trained coaches, instruction manuals from Daisy, the NRA and 4-H and using a BB gun in competition shooting. All shooters are required to take a test on gun safety at each competition before shooting takes place. This program recruits both boys and girls to the 4-H program and to learn more about shooting safely, teamwork and discipline. The BB Team is open to youth age 9 to 8th grade.
