Applications for this class are due in the Dougherty County office by 5:00 pm on March 9, 2018.
The Master Gardener program is designed to train volunteers so that they become highly skilled individuals in the area of horticulture.
Activities in a volunteer program may include, but are not limited to, environmental gardening and composting demonstrations, plant clinics, newsletters, community gardens and news articles.
Classes will be held every Tuesday and Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. beginning April 3, 2018 and concluding on June 19, 2018 at the Dougherty County Extension office located at 125 Pine Avenue in downtown Albany, GA.
The class fee of $140.00 covers all class expenses, including the MG Handbook, MG Name Badge, MG Certificate, field trips, and a one year membership in the Georgia Master Gardener Association
