Food Hubs for the Future: Growing Georgia's Mid-Size Farms

Food Hubs are a new model for small to mid-size farms to access new markets and strengthen regional economies.
This event is the kickoff for the Georgia Sustainable Agriculture Consortium. Dr. Jim Barham of USDA, will discuss the impacts regional food hubs can have on Georgia agriculture and economic development.
There will then be a panel discussion with Dr. Govind Kannan of Fort Valley State University, Dr. Scott Angle of The University of Georgia, Commissioner Gary Black of Georgia Department of Agriculture, Ms. Alice Rolls of Georgia Organics, and Mr. Don McGough of Farm Bureau.
