Egg Candling Class and Certification

The Georgia Department of Agriculture's Lee Lancaster, Egg Candling Inspector, will provide participants with the information and training necessary to obtain an egg candling certificate and/or license. If you plan to sell your eggs to individuals, or at a farmers market, an egg candling certificate is required. This class lasts about four hours, including one hour of classroom instruction time, followed by the written examination and hands-on candling examination. Lunch will be on your own from Noon till 1:00 PM.
