Busy, Buzzy Bees - Fayette County Beekeepers

June 20, 2017 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

This is our first introduction of the Fayette County Beekeepers. Their stated mission is to facilitate education and advocate community awareness about honeybees, beekeeping, and native pollinators in the Fayette County area while actively encouraging responsible, sustainable beekeeping practices. Effective February 10, 2017 the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service designated the rusty patched bumblebee as an endangered species — the first such designation for a bumblebee and for a bee species in the continental U.S. Without out pollinators where would we be? No vegetables, no fruit, no flowers. Please RSVP by calling our office at 770.305.5412 X 7. Free class.
