Gardening Tips and Techniques: Pruning Azaleas

This hands-on training at the Columbus Museum's Bradley Olmsted Garden will cover pruning techniques. Participants will learn what can be pruned now, how to prune shrubs and trees, and why pruning is an important part of garden maintenance. Following a brief presentation, we will head out to one of Columbus' most historic gardens and put our knowledge to work under the supervision of Master Gardener Extension Volunteers. The class is free and open to anyone interested in learning about pruning techniques. Dress to be outside and bring gloves and long or short nose pruners and/or loppers.

Class will begin in the Wright Room inside the museum before moving to the garden.
