Pressure Canning – Low Acid Foods Saturday, May 20, 2017 10:00 am–2:00 pm
Basics of canning low acid foods in a pressure canner during this hands-on workshop. If you have a dial-gauge canner, bring it and I will check it. Bring a box to take home all your canned goodies. We will order in or you can bring your lunch.

Hot Water Bath for High Acid Foods Monday, June 12, 2017 6:00 pm–9:00 pm
We will learn about preserving high acid foods in the hot-water bath canner. We will preserve fruit and tomato salsas, pickles, green tomato relish, pickles, and other foods during this fun class. Bring a box to haul home all your goodies! Remember to bring your supper. I will have light refreshments provided.

Jams, Jellies, and Preserves Thursday, June 15, 2017 6:00 pm–9:00 pm
How to use the hot-water bath method to make jams, jellies, preserves and conserves. Remember your box for your canned treasures and I'll have refreshments provided
