Common Shrub Identification and Their Problems

May 23, 2017 10:00 am - 11:30 am

Shrubs come in every shape and size; small, medium, large, oval, round, spreading, upright, irregular, columnar – you name it! They are used for a variety of reasons; hedges, screening, backgrounds, foundation plantings, etc. Shrubs also have seasonal blooms and highlights that add aesthetic beauty to the landscape – and many are grown for foliage rather than flowers. A major concern is identifying shrubs and knowing the problems that affect them. Join Kevin Livingston, Agriculture and Natural Resources Agent, Douglas County, as he shows and talks about shrub identification along with their common problems and cures in our area. Please RSVP by calling our office at 770.305.5412 X 7. Free class.
